Taiwan Digital Nomad Association (TDNA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building Taiwan into one of Asia's leading digital nomad destinations. TDNA connects international nomads, local communities, governments, and businesses to co-create sustainable work–life ecosystems where people can live, work, and thrive between mountains and sea.
Taitung County Government is committed to promoting Taitung as a world-class destination for sustainable tourism, digital innovation, and cultural exchange. Through partnerships with international communities and local organizations, Taitung is building a welcoming ecosystem for digital nomads and remote workers to experience its stunning natural landscapes, rich indigenous heritage, and vibrant local life.

Nanhuei Sustainable Travel Alliance
The Nanhuei Sustainable Travel Alliance connects around 40 local businesses and teams across Taitung's Nanhuei region, spanning food, accommodation, tourism, shopping, and transportation. With "cultural sustainability, ecological sustainability, and environmental sustainability" at its core, the alliance promotes locally distinctive sustainable travel practices. Through ocean waste recycling, local tour design, and a reusable cup system, the alliance integrates waste reduction, beach cleanups, and cultural experiences into everyday travel — enabling travelers to take responsibility for the environment while exploring the land. The alliance is committed to shaping a new travel culture in which every journey is more than consumption or experience — it becomes an act of support and stewardship for the land. Through advocacy and practice, alliance partners transform travel from mere consumption into care for the land, giving every step lasting sustainable meaning.
Yuan Natural Co., Ltd.
Yuan Natural is an agricultural brand rooted in Taitung's Chishang and Guanshan regions. The team specializes in rice, functional rice, and rice-based foods, with their proprietary "Black Fiber Rice®" winning international acclaim including the 2017 iTQi Superior Taste Award and 2018 Monde Selection Gold Award. Certified under ISO22000, HACCP, and Tse-Xin organic processing standards, Yuan Natural believes that "healthy land grows healthy crops" and promotes eco-friendly farming and healthy eating. Over the past decade, their contract farming and natural agriculture practices have helped restore protected species including crested serpent eagles, pangolins, and Reeves's muntjac.
Roots Coworking Space
Roots is a coworking space for digital nomads and freelancers from around the world. Through knowledge exchange, shared experiences, and connected networks, members collaborate on diverse and interesting projects, build relationships, grow together, and discover new opportunities.
HerFlow Living Lab
HerFlow Living Lab sits in the heart of Dulan, Taitung — a hybrid space backed by mountains and facing the sea, warm as home. Inside, you'll find seasonal light meals and tea nurtured by Taitung's terroir, alongside a coworking studio that supports local creators and sustainable living. Founded by east-coast artist partners Gwen and Alvaro, the space is guided by the philosophy of "the body and the land are one," hosting cultural and sustainability events while documenting creative inspiration from the mountains and sea — crafting a way of life that flows with nature.
Tsaomin Brunch
Founded in 2020, Tsaomin Brunch sits in a quiet alley near Taitung Forest Park — an unmissable white house wrapped in greenery. The building was once part of an air-force military village, and remains the only one in the neighborhood still preserving its original facade; combined with abundant plants, it gives Tsaomin its distinctive character. Founders Yong-Zhe and Yi-Peng both moved to Taitung from other counties; though their backgrounds had nothing to do with hospitality, those varied experiences brought a richer perspective to the brand. Tsaomin starts with brunch — emphasizing whole foods seasoned into flavorful, signature dishes — and uses plants to forge a connection between space and people, extending into plant markets, hands-on workshops, off-site catering, and private dining.

Fukuoka city welcomes digital nomads. Engineer Cafe provides free co-working spaces, event venues, and an online community where engineers with diverse backgrounds can interact and grow together. As part of the "Engineer Friendly City Fukuoka" initiative, it operates through public–private partnership — promoting open-source contributions from the local community and collaboration with the global ecosystem.
